Risk Disclosure
Last updated: July 2026 — Version 1
Read this before investing in any bag. Memecoin investing involves extreme risk, including the near-certain possibility of losing everything you deposit.
Memecoins can go to zero
Memecoins are speculative digital tokens with no intrinsic value, no cash flows, and no underlying business or asset. Their price is driven entirely by attention, sentiment and speculation. Most memecoins eventually go to zero. You should be prepared to lose 100% of anything you put into a bag.
Extreme volatility
Memecoin prices routinely move tens of percent in a day and can collapse in minutes. Concentrated thematic bags are typically far more volatile than any diversified fund. A bag can lose most or all of its value with no warning and no recovery.
Liquidity and rug risk
Individual memecoins can lose liquidity suddenly. Insiders, snipers, or the original deployer may dump large holdings. A holding can become effectively untradeable, and its share of the accumulated bag can become worthless.
Smart-contract risk
Bag coins and vaults are smart contracts. Bugs, exploits, oracle failures, or chain-level issues can cause partial or total loss. Audits reduce but do not eliminate this risk.
Oracle and pricing risk
Vault accounting and the fee-to-basket buy path depend on price feeds and on-chain liquidity. Stale or manipulated prices, or thin routing, can cause incorrect share pricing or poor execution when fees buy the basket. Vaults revert on stale prices by design, which can temporarily block deposits and redemptions.
Redemption risk
Redeeming a bag coin returns your pro-rata slice of the underlying basket tokens, not cash. Converting those memecoins to cash may be slow, costly, or impossible if their markets have dried up.
Simulated performance
Model bags show simulated or backtested performance. Simulated results have inherent limitations: they are constructed with hindsight, do not reflect real execution, fees, or slippage, and do not predict future results.
Fee flywheel is not yield
A bag's fees buy more of the basket over time. This is not a dividend, not interest, and not yield generated by any business — it is simply trading fees being converted into more volatile memecoins, which can themselves lose all value.
Creator risk
Bags are created by pseudonymous users. A creator's thesis may be wrong, negligent, or abandoned, and creators may hold the coins they promote. Track records on this platform may be short and largely simulated.
Testnet
Testnet assets have no real-world value. Nothing you do in testnet mode creates a real financial position.
No advice
Nothing on Bagz is investment, legal, or tax advice. Memecoins are entertainment-grade risk. Never invest more than you can afford to lose entirely.
